I sold the Bullet in late March of 2013.
It went to a good home on Oahu.
In 15 months of ownership I traveled in excess of 860 miles on her.
The
Venerable Bullet has been manufactured in India since 1955. This example
is from 2005. The 50th Anniversary Model.
The
Bullet 500 is a single cylinder 500cc "Thumper". I acquired this bike in
late 2011 from the 2nd owner. With only 2700 miles on it and was barely
broken in.
Previous
Owners had installed the Front Disk Brake, GoldStar Style Exhaust, Avon
RoadRunner Tires and a flat slide 30mm carburetor.
I
changed the directional signals, brake light, and switched the seat from
a single bicycle style to the stock bench seat.
